In Baldur’s Gate 3, you will come across countless quests that may not directly advance the main plot. Instead, they may provide rewards in the form of gear, information, or even unique scenarios that allow you to circumvent the ‘intended’ route. As such, you should prioritize these side quests when possible.

Companion Quests

Companion Quests will present themselves as ongoing or passive quests to represent your connection with them. Companion Quests will automatically be added to your quest journal upon meeting and inviting a companion to your party.

Minor events during your travels may present chances to learn about your fellow abductees. As you grow closer and learn more about your Companions, you’ll have the opportunity to complete more in-depth quests for them to further strengthen your bond.
